Engineering Workstations (EWS)

Fall Break Hours:

The following labs will close at 5pm on Friday, November 21:

  • 1001 and 1009 MEL
  • 2022 and 3022 ECEB
  • 406b1 and 406b8 Engineering Hall
  • L416, L440, L520 DCL
  • 57 Grainger Library

and will reopen at 8am on Monday, December 1st.

4th floor Grainger will be open over break whenever Grainger Library is open.

Remote access will be available over break.


The Engineering WorkStation (EWS) labs currently include over 1,200 workstations and serve over 19,000 students taking Engineering courses. EWS provides high performance, highly reliable instructional computing environment for the students and faculty of the College of Engineering.
