Coordinates setup and changes to campus telephone (voice over IP) and networking systems on behalf of Engineering units.
Any change that requires a TUC to place the request to Technology Services on behalf of the requestor.
Requests Skype for Business service be established to new University employees based on the needs of the requesting unit.
Aligns transferring employees to appropriate CFOP, per request of the supported unit. This includes removal of leaving and addition of incoming.
Submits network jack installation and change requests.
Submits work order requests for wireless access points.
Submits RightFax requests based on the needs of the requesting units.
Submits requests for new wireless access points to expand wireless coverage.
Departments and units within the College of Engineering
Supported Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm on University Business Days. Initial response to Telecom Unit Coordinator requests will be within one business day; completion of the request will vary depending on the type of request and processing time from Technology Services and other relevant approving units.

Users of this service agree to the following:
- After contracting, the unit will be given the name(s) of the Engineering IT personnel assigned to the role. The unit must notify Technology Services to add those personnel as official Unit Coordinator(s) for the unit.
- Engineering IT does not provide hardware (VOIP phones) to be used with Skype for Business, but can make recommendations for unit purchase.
- TUC requests must go through several steps outside the College of Engineering, and completion time of requests can vary accordingly.
