Engineering IT provides small home directories for all users affiliated with the College of Engineering.  However, for those with greater data storage needs, Engineering IT also offers robust, professionally managed file storage which can be mounted on client systems on campus or remotely from off-campus through VPN.

It is effectively a datacenter in the cloud. Campus has a contract to allow use of AWS on campus accounts and with a discount.

Overview

Server/Individual System Support is designed to provide purchase consultation, setup, configuration, and administration of one or more servers, workstations, or specialized research systems (either physical or virtual) for a research group. This service is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Covers

University-owned physical computers or virtual computers hosted on University-owned hardware. Includes setup of necessary hardware and software for the intended use of the system. Does not include front-line user support.
