I just moved offices. Why doesn't my IP phone work?

Your ethernet jack may not be enabled

Depending on your location, it is possible the ethernet jack needs to be activated. Contact your department IT for activation. Provide the room number, building, and the jack number. If you are uncertain about the information needed, email engrit-help [at] illinois [dot] edu for support.

You need to log in again

Whenever you move, allow the phone to lock, or turn off your IP phone, log in again with your Active Directory NetID and Lync PIN. If you forgot your information, visit go.illinois.edu/myuc and check your information. You will be able to reset your Lync PIN on the website if necessary.  Email engrit-help [at] illinois [dot] edu for assistance.
