Recommendations for Faculty
Faculty members are encouraged to select a desktop from our recommended list if possible, and reach out to their department or unit's IT professional for consultation, if the recommended machines do not meet their needs. Recommendations for Staff
Staff members of participating departments are enrolled in our Desktop Replacement Program. A standard desktop model will be issued and supported by an IT Professional for eligible staff members. More information can be found on the program here.
Recommendations for Students
Students will generally not be given hardware purchase consultation for personal machines. However, a hardware purchase for a supported research group can merit a consultation from the IT support person for that particular research group.
