The dedicated ECE 391 server is experiencing a problem with its storage array. Engineering IT Infrastructure staff are currently addressing this issue. UPDATE: As of 12:15AM the ECE 391 server was back online. Root cause analysis is currently underway.

The dedicated ECE 391 work directory server experienced load issues due the Linux OS unpacking associated with MP0. To address this issue, Engineering IT has throttled back the number of allowed simultaneous server connections to 60. This appears to have relieved many of the delays students experienced earlier in the week. ECE 391 students should be aware of this limitation when planning to complete MP0. The issues ECE 391 students experienced are isolated to the ECE 391 course server and had no impact on other EWS services or users.

Faulty hardware on one of our storage arrays caused many virtual servers to hang. All servers have been restored.
